Suamsu

Source & Product

Where this water comes from

Our source lies in Yulchon-myeon, Yeosu, Jeollanam-do, inside a protected watershed with no industrial facilities. Rainwater seeps through volcanic bedrock to roughly 400 metres below the surface — nature works slowly here.

About the source

Yeosu's annual rainfall of 1,503mm exceeds the national average, feeding a stable volcanic aquifer with an 11.3% recharge rate. We draw from a fully protected zone with no industrial activity within a 5km radius.

From source to bottle in 4 steps

  1. 01

    Natural filtration

Rainwater seeps through layers of volcanic basalt to a depth of roughly 400m, naturally filtered over decades.

  2. 02

    Deep-well intake

A closed pipe system draws water directly from wells 106–110m deep, with no exposure to surface contaminants.

  3. 03

    Minimal processing

We apply only the lightest filtration and sterilisation — never disturbing the mineral balance.

  4. 04

    Bottled at source

Filling happens on-site at the Yeosu source, preserving the water at its freshest.

Suamsu, the finished bottle

A premium bottle that carries the water exactly as it rises from the volcanic aquifer in Yeosu. A restrained design reflects the landscape and purity of the source — telling the Suamsu story in every bottle.

Catchment area & water stability

The catchment surrounding the source is an isolated watershed cut off from outside pollution, allowing rainwater to recharge steadily and keep both quantity and quality stable.
